Norwich, Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and Pretty Muddy is back!
Covid-19 put our research on pause. Join us at Norfolk Showground on Sunday 17th October 2021 to get back on track. Together we will still beat cancer!
The Race for Life and Pretty Muddy is a series of routes around the country that give people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities the chance to come together and show cancer who’s boss. They’re not races, or runs, and everyone wins the Race for Life (except cancer).
Have you always wanted to take part in the Race for Life but have been put off by the distance? If the answer is yes, then we’ve created the perfect event for you. Sign up to our new 3k Race for Life event, which is less than 2 miles.
If you’ve taken part in one of our 5k events before, and would like to try a longer route, or if you just think that 10k is a better distance for you. 10k (or just over six miles) may sound a little daunting, but it’s not when you know you can do it at your own pace.
Want to have muddy fun whilst beating cancer? Come and get Pretty Muddy. It’s a 5k muddy obstacle course that everyone can take part in. We also have Pretty Muddy Kids – watch them climb over, crawl under, and charge through the course – all in the aid of beating cancer!
Everyone can join in, including dogs! Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
All money raised will be used to fund research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of all types of cancer.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear (trainers/running shoes) and be prepared for all weather. These events pass through all areas of the showground and the ground can become uneven and wet depending on recent weather conditions.
Free car parking is available.
This is not a race. This is an event like no other. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose. To come together. To raise money. To beat cancer.
